This Semester’s Goals

Welcome to my page! As this is such a transitory period going back to in person classes, I want to set high expectations for myself so I’m pushed back into the swing of things. After these first few weeks, reading the syllabus and your comments on my introduction assignment, I’m really excited about this class. While the world of journalism has always been appealing to me, I’ve never known quite what I wanted to do. More recently, I’ve recognized the design/media side of journalism is more my path, as I already love the creativity design entails, whether it’s fashion or interior or anything else. I hope this class gives me a little more insight on how media and design principles are used in journalism today, and more so possible career paths I might be interested in.
